Switching Accounts?
My intention was to start re-uploading all of my art and such to that other account for the sake of it using basically the same name I use literally everywhere else; it'd be easier to find that way for people coming in after seeing my tumblr, twitch, YT etc. (plus it'd be less embarrassing to say that username than this one LMAO thanks 10 year old me)
I'm hesitant however because there's obviously a lot I've built up on this account in the past 6 years whereas the 4 years Ive had the other account there's maybe like 30 watchers total. Also by reuploading all of my art, that might lead to confusion and also a loss of comments, interactions, etc.
I'm not planning on deactivating this account, not at all, but I might shift it into something else. Once I re-upload everything I'll probably put all of my deviations on this account into storage, so as to save all the comments and stuff leftover because Im a sap like that ;;w;;

Thinking of opening Commissions!
Ive been thinking about it for a while now but because my school club is being faced with financial problems, I figured opening commissions could be a good way to help funnel money to help support my club!
We’re our state’s only Academic Decathlon team and have literally No Funding by our school/district so we’re trying to raise money ourselves!! I’ll have more information later as I get more organized but know that’s where your money is going!! I know some people have been interested in me opening commissions in the past SO! I’ll gladly make some art to help support my club!
Pink Diamond Theories and Speculation
Pink Diamond’s character and possible arc
I am honestly really fascinated with how the crewniverse is going to handle Pink Diamond, because frankly there’s two paths they can take with her character that I can see
First off there’s the obvious, they continue with the brat who just wants a colony to herself and to conquer like the other diamonds, and seeing how the Diamonds, even though we love them and love to see them and can understand some of their motivations, they’re still the villains. So I can see why they could go with this one to continue that.
But then, there’s another path that Pink could have taken. I mean, we already know she’s defective. She’s an off-color, extremely short in stature, about equal with Stevonnie. That’s TINY for a diamond. And while I hear that ‘oh well she’s still growing!’ don’t gems like?? NOT grow?? They emerge at their supposed peak maturity if what I remember is correct.
So okay, we’ve got a diamond who is already the complete opposite of what a diamond is expected to be, and there were repercussions for it. She didn’t have a single planet or colony when she said it herself, ‘I’m just as important as you’, and while yes she still had a lot of emotional development to go through it seemed, it’s still surprising the other diamonds hadn’t even seemed to BEGIN educating her on what the Diamond Authority does. Then Yellow goes and asks her that if she really wants to be an equal, then why doesn’t she act like it? Like, see previous point but also, why didn’t they start teaching her about it from straight outta the rock. I mean, she’s still a diamond right? She’s certainly on the logo, she certainly has her own mural (albeit a completely misconstrued one, but more on that later) So she should’ve been adopted into her role, with education beginning fairly quickly. But, no, instead I feel like their prejudice and obsession with perfection got in the way.
But you’re all like, okay Zone, we know this, get on with what ur saying and ik ik Im rambling. But okay, all her life, she had been hyped up and taught about how great the diamonds were, and Im sure she was so happy and proud to be a apart of this grand group. Yet then, at the same time, was immediately shot down when she merely wanted to pursue everything she had been told diamonds are supposed to pursue. She was always treated lower, unequal, different. One of the supposedly most perfect gems was a complete and total flop. Yeah, she was temperamental, she was fiery, she was persistent, obnoxious and an annoyance. But she was also ambitious and just wanted to live up to this grand image built up my her sisters only to be stomped down by them as well. She was probably struggling a lot internally, especially since she was younger. Comprehending and dealing with those emotions would’ve been far more challenging. I think it’s possible that they even perhaps disguised her when in the public eye. I mean, they have the technology to certainly pull off something like that, which is where the mural comes in. Maybe it looks that way because that’s how they wanted everyone to see Pink, maybe that’s the only way the public ever truly saw her. Because a little 7 foot diamond would clearly show some sense of defectiveness when compared to the other 3. Perhaps her court and stuff were allowed to see her true form, which would make sense since they were the closest to her, and maybe she even pushed to have the gems created on Earth allowed to see her as she was, which could also explain why her Palanquin was allowed to be so fitting and not exaggerated. I’m not sure, but I feel the other diamonds REALLY tried to hide her flaws.
So, imagine, the absolute joy when she is finally given her own court, and her very first planet, Earth. She’d probably be bouncing off of the walls with joy and yeah that’s predictable so why is it important? Well, it’s important because that’s not how the other diamonds would react with a new planet, sure with their own first planets Blue, White and Yellow Im sure were equally excited in some form, but like we’ve discussed, Pink is different.
So little Pink finally gets her hands on a planet and court and frankly, I can easily imagine a character like her really appreciating it. It’s the only one she has, so she’ll want to do well. She’d admire it, because it’s hers. And yes, it’d be for selfish reasons at first because of the “Mine! Mine! Mine!” complex she seems to currently have going. But people learn and change, so as she learned more and more about her new planet, I feel that there is a possibility that she got attached. It was her first planet, something she always wanted and then something she learned about. She may have even considered trying to hold onto it for sentimental value but was obviously shot down. Which could be why she made the Zoo, to preserve what she could before the Earth was inevitably destroyed because of the gem’s colonization. Hell, she could have sympathized with the humans because they were so looked down upon. Then there’s the whole fact that a LOT of off-colors belonged to her, the defective diamond. So, I think there’s a lot of evidence that she truly was a kind person deep down, but there’s a lot of anger and childish problems that cover that up.
So there’s all of that which is already a lot to take in, and Ive talked about her enough for one post, so when it comes to actual theories regarding her imma make another post lmao
But honestly I REALLY think she could go in a direction like this or at least similar. I hope she does anyway, it’d be a interesting dynamic and whole new side of the story.
Discussing Pink Diamond Theories
So yall already know abt what direction I think Pink Diamond’s personality would be more likely to go, if we’ve learned ANYTHING abt how 3-dimensional the characters in this show are LMAO
So, with that in mind, lets talk theories, and continue with where I left off; Pink’s dilemma with Earth.
Im sure she’d be sentimental about her first planet that she learned so much about, so it’s possible she might do what she could to save it, and taken her seemingly impulsive nature and obvious tendency to really FIGHT for what she wants, not afraid to stand up and argue with those higher than her, I feel her doing something drastic to get what she wants isn’t too far of a stretch, especially if she was truly attached to the planet. There’s also the fact that she was the creator of Rose Quartz soldiers, so our Rose could have possibly influenced her if she had been close enough or had gotten the opportunity. We can infer that Pink didn’t hold the same traditions that the other diamonds do, and it’s possible she spent a lot more time with her soldiers personally than the others, especially because of the fact that a lot of them were defective like herself. Hell, she might have even used that to her advantage to help motivate them, giving a whole “I was kicked down for being different but look at how I ended up! I’m here! I was able to climb and you can all do good too.” speech.
Also, with this intimacy with her court and army, she could’ve easily have been more aware of the seeds of rebellion that were growing. Again, this can split off into two branches, either she hates it and tries to shut it down (or merely never knew and thus was truly murdered by Rose/whoever framed Rose) or, and frankly more interestingly but also less likely, she could have seen a possible rebellion as an opportunity.
If anything were to get the other Diamonds off of Earth’s back, it would be a rebellion, a STRONG one too.
So, and this is where we get into wild speculation here folks, but what if she had colluded with Rose??? Rose obviously loved Earth and if Pink Diamond had shown EQUAL support of the planet, then just imagine the possibilities of what these two could have planned. Pink’s supposed shattering of course is another story. Betrayal perhaps? Or a planned and unfortunate sacrifice for something Pink and Rose loved? Hell, maybe even it was staged. IK there’s a theory going around that Pink could possibly be bubbled (or have even escaped and gone into hiding) and while it’s probably not true, its fascinating to think of the possibilities of what could happen if she were still alive.
I mean, imagine it. The defective and oh so fragile Pink diamond seemingly being resurrected and then openly fighting on the side of the Crystal Gems, just for one planet. Imagine showing her true face and self for every other gem to see. Hell, imagine Jasper and so many gems like her’s reactions to finally seeing the legendary Pink Diamond and realizing that she’s defective. Imagine the kind of spark the idea of a defective diamond could spark in the rebellion. For characters like Amethyst who have always seen themselves as lesser for being short and coming out “wrong”! It’d be absolutely mind-boggling and would make even the most devoted homeworld gems question their oh-so perfect leaders!
Like I said, mad speculation that’s probably not gonna happen, but LET ME D R E A M–
EDIT: WE FORGOT ABT THE MURAL WHICH COULD MOST DEFINITELY SHOW US SOME MORE INFO!!
So the gem that Rose is fighting obviously doesnt look like Pink, that’s clear to say the least, especially with the diamond being on the chest rather than the lower stomach. Now, while this could be an idolization, it still doesnt add up. The coloration suggests that this gem Rose is fighting is instead White Diamond. But them again, the gem placement comes into question, but let me offer a solution!
Perhaps the diamond insignia on the chest is simply apart of a universal outfits the diamonds wear, after all we’ve seen all of the lower rank gems wearing outfits with that similar diamond on their chest. Ik I personally assumed it was just a yellow diamond thing but we’ve seen that everyone wears them because of the Amethysts in the Zoo and then Blue Agate herself, so why is it so far fetched that the diamonds themselves used to wear the same outfits and only Yellow from what we’ve seen, seeing as she’s the most militaristic, kept up the tradition? Pearl's space suit even has Pink Diamond's Diamond logo on her chest!
So, this diamond is most likely White. So, what’s happening in the rest of the pic? Well, first off, it looks an awful lot like Rose is holding Pink Diamond.
So okay, let’s assume she IS. There’s two possibilities of what’s going on then.
1) PD was only Poofed by Rose when stepping out of her palanquin and then was held as a sort of hostage by the rebellion as a hope to gain and advantage. PD’s freedom for The diamonds to leave Earth alone (although it’s unlikely they’d follow through) THEN furthermore, with the way White is standing, it’s possible that she’s literally denying it saying “No, you all have caused enough trouble for us, this ends now.” Which could’ve ended with Pink shattering in the midst of battle and then White blaming it on Rose
Or, and personally what I think if more likely
2) Pink was protecting Rose and the others. If we look at the way the mural is placed and how each character is standing, it looks more like Rose has her hands out in a “No, don’t!” type position as White seems to be launching an attack. And then of course, we see PD’s gem seemingly blocking and taking the blow of White’s shot if the lines going into the gem itself are anything to go off of. This exact moment could be what shattered Pink. As I looked at earlier, it’s extremely likely that a character like Pink got attached and wanted to protect her planet and her court. That dedication, appreciative and downright love could have been what saved them and Rose but also cost Pink her life.
And as Zircon said, it’s only possible for a Diamond to be shattered by another diamond! And of course White may not have intended to hit Pink, but if she did, she would most definitely try to cover it up. And who else is a known fugitive and rebel as well as being perfectly matched in the frame with WD?
